Why we help stray cats in France.
In France, a large number of stray cats live very difficult lives.
Many are born on the streets. Others are abandoned. Many face illness or injury and never experience the safety of a permanent home.
Across the country, small local associations work every day to change this.
Most of them are run by volunteers. They are not paid. They give their time, energy and often their own personal resources to help cats in need, simply because they care.
Their work takes many forms. Some rescue kittens and search for safe homes. Others organise sterilisations to prevent further suffering. Many help injured or sick cats by arranging medical care, recovery and rehabilitation. All of this is done with very limited means.
There is rarely any reward for this work. For these associations, bills pile up. Expenses are often paid in advance. The need is greater than what they can afford. Their work often remains unseen, even though the impact is real.
This is why Fluffy Lumpkins chooses to support small, local associations and help bring their work into the light.
Because every cat deserves a home.
And we believe it’s something we build together.

They feed, protect and medically support stray cats, while running
sterilisation programmes to stop the cycle of abandonment.
Their work depends entirely on support from people who choose to help.
La Tchica Fondation

They trap, sterilise and care for cats, who are welcomed into their cat café
